Himalayan Balsam – Impatiens glandulifera
Pollen Description : Himalayan Balsam pollen grains are distinctive due to their oval/rectangular shape and their four furrow type apertures. They are approximately 30um long and have a smooth surface. The furrows are unusual, as they run vertically in the corners of the rectangle, rather than along the length of the pollen grain. The pollen load is white.
