Bird’s Foot Trifoil – Lotus corniculatus

Pollen Description : Bird’s Foot Trifoil pollen is oval shaped and is approximately 25 um long.  It has three neat, furrow and pore type apertures, which run along its length.  The pores bulge slightly from the surface but do not distort the round section of the pollen grain.  The surface has a slightly granulated appearance.
