Sweet Rocket – Hesperis matronalis
Plant : Sweet Rocket is a member of the Brassicaceae family and is attractive to bees. It readily self seeds and grows tall stems, up to 1 m high. These stems produce spikes of fragrant, white and violet flowers in late spring and early summer.
Flower : They have regular, four petal flowers, which are characteristic of the Brassicaceae family. These flowers are approximately 3 cm across and flower in May and June.
