Large Thyme – Thymus pulegiodes
Plant : Thyme is often grown in herb gardens for its strongly aromatic scent. It has creeping branches and erect square stems, which reach 30 cm in height. It is a member of the Lamiceae family and is very attractive to many types of pollinators.
Flower : The canopy of the plant becomes covered in tiny white or purple flowers, which grow in groups at the end of the stems. It has a long flowering period, between May and August.
