Maple – Acer campestre

Plant : Maple is a native, large deciduous tree, with distinctive palmate leaves and “helicopter” seeds.  It is a member of the Sapindaceae family and can grow over 15 m high.

Flower : The flowers are green, with five petals and five sepals.  It flowers in May and June.
