Common Ragwort – Senecio jacobaea

Pollen Description : Common Ragwort pollen is round in shape and approximately 25 um in diameter.  It is distinctive, due to its three pore type apertures and the shorts spikes covering its surface.  The exine section is quite thick, in relation to its size.
