Cornflower – Centaurea cyanus

Pollen Description : Cornflower pollen is an oblong shape and 35 um long.  It has three furrow and pore type apertures and the surface has a pimpled texture.  The exine is thick and appears to have an internal structure.  The pollen load is white.
