Gorse – Ulex europaeus

Pollen Description : The pollen grain appears oval when viewed from the equator and becomes more triangular in appearance when viewed from the poles.  It is approximately 50um across.  It has three furrow type apertures and the surface has a netted texture.  The pollen load is orange.
