Ivy – Hedera helix

Pollen Description : The Ivy pollen grain body is round and approximately 25um in diameter.  It has three furrow and pore type apertures, as well as a netted surface.  Under the microscope at x600, the exine section appears to be made up of spaced rods.  The pollen load is yellow.
