Phacelia – Phacelia tanacetifolia
Pollen Description : When viewed from the poles, Phacelia pollen is a round shape. Although, when viewed from the equator it is an oval shape. It is approximately 22 um in diameter. It has three furrow type apertures, which extend almost to the poles. In addition to these apertures there are also three furrow type features on the surface of the pollen but these are not apertures and do not extend as far towards the poles.
