Pyramidal Bugle – Ajuga pyramidalis

Pollen Description : Pyramidal Bugle pollen is roughly round in shape, although its three furrow type apertures give it a slightly triangular appearance, when viewed from the poles.  It is approximately 25 um in diameter.  The exine section appears relatively thick and the surface appears netted.
